Interview

This is a situation where every individual wonders how they perform, what happens to the result, if rejected, why, how to perform. Let me give few tips for those attend interviews

Whenever you attend an interview, ensure that you are in a proper dress code, if you are software engineer or a marketing exec, plz make sure that you wear formal dress. I personally prefer that you wear a Tie, I have rearly seen a SE wearing a tie for an interview, Take my word & I bet any HR will easily fall for it and they would have gained 100% confidence if you wear a tie. Keep in mind that HR are management ppl & they feel good if someone wears a Tie. 

If you are wearing formals without tie is also fine as 99% of them does the same. Be confident, make sure that you carry atleast 3 to 4 copies of your resume, also know what you have written in the resume, I myself have rejected many ppl who claim they do not know, they need some time to prepare for what they have written in their resume. Carry supportive docs for whatever exp you would have shown, for eg your current & previous company's docs, educational certificates.

Most of the HR's might ask you the same question "Tell me about Yourself" If thats the question, be prepared & explain yourself in a systematic way, by explaing from your family background, education, then your work exp. Do not start in the other way

Most of the companies will have their own standards, so if anyone asks for salary expectaions, the safest answer would be company stdrd, unless you have particular expectation.

Make sure you have a good body language, do not take your palm/hand towards your mouth, dont be the first person to give handshake, let the interviewer offer you the handshake, till then you are not supposed to give, Refer my other blog BODY LANGUAGE for further details on this.
